ORLANDO, Fla. —
Hundreds of warnings have been sent to drivers for dangerous and risky maneuvers on the rails.

WESH 2 News’ review of Central Florida “grade crossing collisions” showed there have been a total of 29 crashes between vehicles and SunRail trains, Amtrak Passenger rail and freight trains between May 2014 and April 10, 2017.

Drivers have been caught stopping on the rails or trying to drive around crossing arms before trains roll through.
The city set up cameras around the rails, snapping pictures of license plates of vehicles that stop or move around the arms at the tracks.
Since August, 700 warning letters have been mailed out to drivers.
See what some drivers are doing, and find out more ways the state is trying to prevent these collisions.
