Thanksgiving Drive Safely
Photo Enforcement Doesn't Take A Holiday
In every U.S. state and territory, it is illegal to drive under the influence of drugs — no exceptions. Let’s drive safely this Thanksgiving Holiday.
The U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is reminding drivers about the deadly consequences of drug-impaired driving. For a safe Thanksgiving, drivers should make plans for a sober ride home. Remember: If You Feel Different, You Drive Different.
If a driver finds they are unable to drive, they should give their keys to a sober driver so that person can get them home safely. With rideshare options just a tap away, there’s no reason for anyone to get behind the wheel while impaired. When a friend has been using drugs and is considering driving, friends should be proactive — take away the keys and help them get a sober ride home. If anyone spots an impaired driver, contact local law enforcement.
At NovoaGlobal, we’re committed to safer communities. Our Photo Enforcement cameras, located in cities across the country, work alongside law enforcement by documenting dangerous driving behaviors and helping reduce roadway risks.
Stay safe, stay responsible, and enjoy a cool, peaceful Thanksgiving holiday.
